thank you blue
I think I may be a huge prog head too, as, for better or worse, Fripp, as much as he has identified me as a guitar fan (at least as much as Jimi, insofar as he has seriously outlasted him, and we can argue sundry other matters)scares me, at least I can admit my fondness for intellectual guitar wanking.
Longtime Discipline subscriber.
I really wish I could be there.
Concentric thoughts:
1970 favorite guitar player list:
1 Jimi
2 John Cipollina
3 Jorma Kaukonen
4 Randy California
5 Robert Fripp
Jerry came in tied for five.
easily in that order, for better or worse.
Wrote it then, admit it now.

My buddy and I met first day of college, at the college radio station, because he was wearing a Discipline t-shirt. Now Fripp, Belew, Levin and others are his pals. I own both of these on vinyl (no intellectual guitar wanting on this one):

very cool
though the band that said "we'd like to play like we have a hundred dicks" doesn't, is still trying.
At least they're trying.

Your buddy might be the coolest guy.
I'm a bit older, and understand that does not mean cooler.
I kinda wish it did.
that aside, this is great stuff.
I'll matriculate at anyone's feet that gets it.
No problem.

Always thought the version of Here Comes the Flood, was way better on Exposure than on PG's first album. Although the stripped down German version might have been the best.

I think i still have that 12 inch import single boxed away somewhere. Also had an alternative version of Biko.
